We run the parts of finance that can’t be late
Citus Shared Services Private Limited was incorporated in June 2023 to do one thing properly: take responsibility for the recurring, deadline-bound finance and compliance work that every company has and almost no company enjoys.
We are not a firm of Chartered Accountants, and we do not want to be. We do not audit, we do not certify, and we do not sign opinions. What we do is keep books, run payroll, prepare and file returns, maintain statutory records and produce management information — reliably, in your systems, to a professional standard, at a cost that makes sense.
Our delivery centre is in Netaji Subhash Place, New Delhi. Our clients are Indian companies, Indian subsidiaries of foreign groups, not-for-profits, and accounting firms in the US, UK, UAE and Australia ]] who use us as their offshore finance team.
What we believe
Compliance is an operations problem, not an intellectual one:
The technical answer is usually known. What goes wrong is the process around it — the file that arrived late, the reconciliation nobody did, the return that was filed on the last day with numbers nobody had checked. We compete on process discipline, not on cleverness.
Somebody has to own the date:
Shared responsibility for a deadline means no responsibility for it. Every deliverable on a Citus engagement has one named owner and one named reviewer, and both are written down.
Bad news early beats good news late:
If a filing is at risk, you hear it while there is still time to do something. We would rather have an uncomfortable call on the 15th than an apology on the 25th.
The client’s system is the system:
We are not trying to migrate you onto our platform. We work in your ledger, with your chart of accounts, on your close calendar.
What we don’t do
We think it is worth being explicit, because it is unusual:
No statutory audit, internal audit or any assurance engagement
No attestation, certification or signing of any report reserved to a Chartered Accountant.
No representation before tax or regulatory authorities in a professional capacity
No investment, insurance or securities advice

Citus Shared Services Private Limited provides outsourced and managed business services to organisations seeking dependable support across finance, accounting, compliance and business operations.
We therefore work as an extension of our clients’ teams.
